Are you planning to be married and want to look absolutely stunning? Most brides do! On a wedding day, brides want three things - healthy glowing skin, rich and luscious hair, and glistening eyes. After all, as you make your way down the aisle, all eyes will be following your every move. For this reason, it is imperative that you look and feel your best.
Healthy Glowing Skin
Remember that achieving glowing skin is not something you can just do in a few days. Achieving healthy skin is a process. If you are not currently on a regimen, then you should start one no later than six months out from your wedding date.
This regimen would include using quality cleansers, toners, and moisturizers. Additionally, you want to avoid the sun if possible, instead using sunscreen or choosing to visit your local tanning salon where you can get color with airbrushing. You also want to change your diet so that the foods you eat are healthy and not the cause of dull skin or skin with breakouts.
Rich Luscious Hair
Your hair will be a big factor on your wedding day so you want to ensure it is healthy and styled perfectly. If you have wavy hair, you can create a beautiful, textured look by using a silicone-based cream while wet. Then, with a wide-tooth comb, distribute the cream evenly. Now, wind sections about the size of a quarter around your finger and hold for about 10 seconds. Next, move to the next section until all the hair is done.
If you have straight hair, you can achieve wonderful curls by using a half-inch in diameter curling iron. At the root, twist sections of your hair, being dry, around the iron and then hold for about 10 seconds. Carefully, slip the hair off the curling iron, making sure you are not loosening the curls by unwinding it.
Glistening Eyes
Your eyes will take the spotlight on your wedding day. Your eyes are the windows to your soul and the very things that people will be looking into. To have bright, glistening eyes, use quality makeup and not too much moisturizer. Start with an eye primer, which can be dabbed onto the lid.
Then, use a soft, pale eye shadow on the entire lid. Next, you want to apply a layer on top of the first layer that is a medium shade, applying just above the crease line. Always use power shadow in that it will last longer and look smoother and more natural. Finally, use an eye pencil to create a thin line on both upper and lower lids.
