Many brides are excited to find that they can save money and have a great time doing it. One option that many brides overlook is making their own flowers, which includes all or just some of what would be used for decorating the church, the flowers for the family, the bridesmaids and groomsmen flowers, and of course, the bouquet.
Although you can choose whatever type and color of flower you like, when making the wedding bouquet, wonderful colors that look good with just about type of wedding gown includes cream, light mint green, or porcelain pink flowers. If your wedding will be in the springtime, ice blue is also beautiful. To create a bridal bouquet, all you need to do is follow the guidelines below:
- Choose two dozen South American Roses that are about 10 inches in diameter
- Remove the foliage from the stem where the flowers will be gathered
- Taking one stem at a time with one hand and then with the other hand, you will gather the flowers
- You want to keep the flowers facing the same plain if you want a formal look and for a dramatic look, you can vary the dimensions
- Next, use a rubber band to bind all of the flowers
- Cover the rubber band with ribbon to hide it
- After the flowers have been arranged, you will wrap the flowers in tissue paper, keeping them in water until the wedding day
